01Agreement to Terms

Welcome to KanhaiJewels. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services, products, and website of KanhaiJewels, located at Shop No 6, Urban Trade Center, Prahladnagar Road, Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380015, India.

By visiting our showroom, using our services, placing an order, or interacting with us through any channel (including our website, email, WhatsApp, or telephone), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the customer) and KanhaiJewels. Please read them carefully before using our services or making any purchase.

02Our Services

KanhaiJewels provides the following services to its customers:

• Sale of gold, diamond, silver, and precious stone jewellery
• Custom jewellery design and manufacturing services
• Jewellery exchange and buyback services
• Jewellery repair, maintenance, and cleaning services
• Jewellery valuation and appraisal
• Bridal jewellery consultation and styling
• Gift wrapping and presentation packaging
• After-sales customer support and service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any of our services at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

03Purchases & Payments

Order Confirmation

All purchases are subject to availability and confirmation of the order. An order is considered confirmed only when you receive a written or verbal confirmation from our staff, along with a purchase receipt or invoice.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash (Indian Rupees)
• Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay)
• UPI payments (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
• Bank transfers (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS)
• EMI through major bank partners (subject to eligibility)
• Cheque (for amounts above ₹50,000, subject to clearance)

Advance Payments

For custom orders, a minimum advance payment of 50% of the total order value may be required at the time of placing the order. The balance is payable upon completion and delivery of the jewellery.

Invoicing

All purchases will be accompanied by a proper GST invoice containing itemized details including metal weight, purity, stone details, making charges, and applicable taxes. Please retain your invoice for all future reference, exchange, or warranty claims.

04Pricing Policy

All prices displayed or quoted are subject to change based on prevailing market rates for gold, silver, diamonds, and precious stones. Prices are typically calculated based on:

• Metal Rate: Current market rate for gold/silver on the day of purchase
• Weight: Net weight of the metal in grams
• Making Charges: Craftsmanship charges that vary by design complexity
• Stone Value: Price of diamonds or precious stones based on quality and weight
• GST: Applicable Goods and Services Tax as per government regulations

Prices quoted verbally or in preliminary estimates may be subject to revision based on final weight, design modifications, or market rate changes at the time of final production. We will always communicate any significant price changes before proceeding.

05Exchange & Return Policy

Exchange Policy

We offer an exchange facility on all jewellery purchased from KanhaiJewels, subject to the following conditions:

• The original purchase invoice and certificate must be presented at the time of exchange
• The jewellery must be in its original condition with no damage, alterations, or repairs done outside our workshop
• Exchange value will be calculated based on the current prevailing metal rate on the date of exchange
• Making charges and stone value may be deducted as per our standard policy at the time of exchange
• Custom-designed jewellery may have different exchange terms, which will be communicated at the time of order

Return Policy

We generally do not accept returns for change of mind. However, returns may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:

• Manufacturing defects that cannot be repaired
• Significant discrepancy in the delivered product compared to the order specifications
• Return requests must be raised within 7 days of purchase

Buyback Policy

We offer a buyback facility on all gold jewellery purchased from KanhaiJewels. The buyback value is calculated based on the prevailing gold rate on the date of buyback, with applicable deductions for making charges as per our current buyback rates.

06Custom Orders

Custom jewellery orders are subject to the following terms:

• A minimum advance of 50% of the estimated order value is required to commence production
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on design complexity, material availability, and production load
• Design changes after production has commenced may incur additional charges and extend delivery timelines
• Cancellation of custom orders after production has begun will result in forfeiture of the advance amount
• We are not responsible for slight variations in colour, texture, or dimensions that are inherent in handcrafted jewellery
• Custom orders are generally non-returnable but may be eligible for exchange at our discretion

We will do our utmost to deliver your custom piece exactly as envisioned. Our design team will work closely with you throughout the process and provide updates on the progress of your order.

07Quality & Certification

KanhaiJewels is committed to delivering jewellery of the highest quality. All our products are subject to rigorous quality standards:

• Gold Jewellery: All gold jewellery is BIS hallmarked in accordance with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Hallmarking regulations
• Diamond Jewellery: Diamonds are certified by reputed gemological laboratories including GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and IGI (International Gemological Institute)
• Precious Stones: Coloured gemstones are sourced from reputed suppliers and certified where applicable
• Silver Jewellery: All silver jewellery is of 92.5% (sterling silver) or higher purity

Certificates of authenticity and hallmarking documents are provided with all purchases where applicable. Please safeguard these documents as they will be required for exchange, buyback, or insurance purposes.

08Communication Consent & Marketing

These communications may include:

• Promotional offers, discounts, and seasonal sales announcements
• New collection launches and product updates
• Order confirmations, status updates, and delivery notifications
• Service reminders and appointment notifications
• Loyalty programme updates and exclusive member benefits
• Festive greetings and special occasion offers

Opting out of marketing communications will not affect your ability to receive transactional messages related to your purchases.

09Intellectual Property

All content, designs, logos, images, text, graphics, and other materials on our website, catalogues, and marketing materials are the exclusive intellectual property of KanhaiJewels and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission
• Our trade name "KanhaiJewels" and logo are registered trademarks and may not be used without authorization
• Jewellery designs created exclusively for KanhaiJewels are proprietary and may not be reproduced
• Customer-submitted designs for custom orders remain the property of the customer

10Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KanhaiJewels shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services
• Loss of jewellery due to theft, fire, or other causes while in your possession after purchase
• Damage caused by improper use, maintenance, or exposure to chemicals after purchase
• Natural variations in gemstone colour, inclusions, or characteristics that are inherent to natural stones
• Market fluctuations in gold, silver, or gemstone prices after the date of purchase

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the specific product or service in question.

11Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms or your use of our services, we encourage you to first contact us directly to seek an amicable resolution:

We will make every effort to resolve disputes fairly and promptly. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India, with the venue of arbitration being Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

12Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and specifically the laws applicable in the state of Gujarat. Any legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

These Terms comply with applicable Indian laws including but not limited to the Indian Contract Act, 1872; the Consumer Protection Act, 2019; the Information Technology Act, 2000; and the Bureau of Indian Standards Act.

13Changes to Terms

KanhaiJewels reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or communicating to customers through our registered channels. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Your continued use of our services after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of our services.

For material changes, we will provide notice through our website, email, or other appropriate communication channels.
